Org Admins with Org User Manager permissions can leverage the Users tab to manage and create user accounts in bulk.
Creating New Users
- Toggle to your role as an Org Admin and Navigate to the Users tab.
- Download a CSV file of your organization's users by clicking the Download CSV button.
- The following fields are required to upload a new user by CSV:
- Column A first_name - The value to include is the new user's first name.
- Column B last_name - The value to include is the new user's last name.
- Column C email - The value to include is the new user's email address.
- Column H isActive - The value to include here is TRUE for active of FALSE for inactive.
Helpful Hint: Completing columns A, B, C & H will create a user, but your user will need additional assignments to access their role and complete work on the EdReflect platform.
- Column A first_name - The value to include is the new user's first name.
- The following fields are optional to upload a new user by CSV. Please note, exact spelling and capitalization must be used for the CSV to upload. A helpful hint is to copy and paste suborgs and group assignments from your downloaded CSV:
- Column D employeeID - You can add an employee ID number or identifier here. This can also remain blank.
- *Column E roles -Select the appropriate role(s) for the user. Users can have multiple roles. Org Admins can assign the Observer and Learner roles. Be sure to separate your roles using a comma. A user must have a role to complete work in EdReflect.
Please note: If a new user should have an Org Admin role, please have your organization's Lead Contact reach out to support@edreflect.com for assistance. - Column F suborgs -If your organization uses SubOrgs (typically school or campus names) you can assign the user to their building or campus here. Multiple SubOrgs can be assigned as needed. Be sure to separate your suborgs using a comma.
- *Column G groups - Groups contain multiple assignments that help make each user account unique. Users can be assigned to multiple groups depending on your organization's set-up. Be sure to separate your groups using a comma. A user must have group assignments to complete work in EdReflect unless they only hold the Org Admin role.
- Assign the appropriate Rubric Group if your user has a Learner role.
- Assign the appropriate Learner Template Group if your user has a Learner role and your organization uses template groups.
- Assign the appropriate Observer Template Group if your user has an Observer role and your organization uses template groups.

- Assign the appropriate Rubric Group if your user has a Learner role.

- Save your updates to the CSV file and upload your relationships by clicking the Upload CSV button.
- If your upload is not successful, you will receive an error report detailing what went wrong. If you need additional assistance, you can contact support by emailing support@edreflect.com. Be sure to send a copy of your CSV file for troubleshooting purposes.
Managing Current Users
- Toggle to your role as an Org Admin and Navigate to the Users tab.
- Download a CSV file of your organization's users by clicking the Download CSV button.
- Adjust the information as needed.
- Please Note: Emails cannot be updated using the CSV. It will create a new user.
- If adding additional roles, suborgs or groups, be sure to leave the existing information intact and add your new information using commas to separate within a cell.
- If removing a role, suborg or group, delete the information from your spreadsheet.
- Use the isActive column to deactivate or reactivate users in bulk.
- Please Note: Emails cannot be updated using the CSV. It will create a new user.
- Save your updates to the CSV file and upload your relationships by clicking the Upload CSV button.
