Org Admins with Org User Manager permissions can use the Relationships tab to manage and create Observer-Learner relationships in bulk.
Viewing Current Relationships
- Toggle to your role as an Org Admin and Navigate to the Relationships tab.
- The Relationships table displays all Observer-Learner relationships for your organization. You can search by first or last name to look for a specific Observer or Learner. You can also sort by column header.
- Download a CSV file of your organization's relationships by clicking the Download CSV button.
Adding New Relationships in Bulk
- Downloaded a CSV of your current relationships.
- You can either delete the rows displaying your organization's current relationships or add your new relationships to the bottom of the CSV. Please note, each unique relationship receives its own line on the spreadsheet.
- The following fields are required to upload a new relationship by CSV:
- Column B Observers - The value to include is the Observer's email address.
- Column D Learners - The value to include is the Learner's email address.
- Column G IsActive - The value to include is True to show the relationship is active.
- Column B Observers - The value to include is the Observer's email address.
- The following fields are optional to upload a new relationship by CSV:
- Column A Name - You can name the relationship. This can also remain blank.
- Column C ObserverGroups - If your organization has created Observer Groups, you can include one here to assign all Observers in that group to the Learner.
- Column E LearnerGroups - If your organization has created a Learner Groups, you can include one here to assign all Learners in that group to the Observer.
- Column F IsReadOnly - if you are adding the Observer as a Read-Only Observer to view all activities scheduled for the Learner, add the value True. Please Note: Each Read-Only relationship needs to be added as it's own row. It cannot be combined with creating a new observer/learner relationship.

- Column A Name - You can name the relationship. This can also remain blank.
- Save your updates to the CSV file and upload your relationships by clicking the Upload CSV button.
Removing Relationships in Bulk
- Downloaded a CSV of your current relationships.
- For the relationship(s) you would like to remove, change the value in Column G IsActive to False.
- Save your updates to the CSV file and remove your relationships by clicking the Upload CSV button.
Helpful Hint: This step can be completed at the same time as new relationships are being added. There is no reason to upload the CSV twice.
Relationships can also quickly be removed by clicking the Remove button in the relationship row. Click Confirm in the pop up modal to remove the relationship.
