Managing School Affiliations

Org Admins can assign multiple users to a school or schools. Please note that only Org Admins with no school affiliations can assign users to schools. 

  1. From the Update Existing Users tab, select school affiliations from the I'm Updating field.
  2. Choose to display unassigned users and/or users with existing school assignments.

  1. Click individual users to select them. You do not need to press a key (Ctrl, Shift or CMD) to make multiple selections. Your selections accumulate until you are finished.
    • Use Filter by schools to display a desired listing of the schools' users.

    • To deselect a user, click the user's tile again.
    • You can also use the search field to find a specific user.
  1. Once you have selected the appropriate users, you may use the ...and add them to these schools menu to assign users to a school or schools.
    • Click the appropriate school in the menu.
    • To add more schools to the assignment field, click in the field again and click another school to add it.
    • To remove a school tile from the list, click the "x" to the right of the school name.

  1. Click Save school affiliations to complete the school assignment(s).

Reassigning Users to Other Schools

You can reassign users in one school to a different school by using the selection pane at the bottom of the Bulk User Management screen. 

  1. Choose a school whose users you would like to reassign.

  1. In the user selection pane, click the tiles of the users you wish to reassign. You do not need to press a key (Ctrl, Shift or CMD) to make multiple selections. Your selections accumulate as you go.
  2. With users selected, choose reassign to a different school in the menu below the user pane.

  1. Click the appropriate school in the menu. You may need to scroll to find it.
    • To add more schools to the assignment field, click in the field again and select another school to add it.
    • To remove a school tile from the list, click the "x" to the right of the school name.

  1. Click Reassign.

Reassignments are made immediately and cannot be undone.

Removing Users from Schools

You can remove users from a school using the selection pane at the bottom of the Bulk User Management screen. 

  1. Choose a school whose users you would like to remove.
  2. In the user selection pane, click the tiles of the users you wish to remove from the school. You do not need to press a key (Ctrl, Shift or CMD) to make multiple selections. Your selections accumulate as you go.
  3. With users selected, choose remove them from this school in the menu below the user pane.
  4. Click Remove.

Removals are made immediately and cannot be undone.
