If you encounter errors when uploading artifacts to activities or your E-Portfolio, here are some possible steps to take for a few of the more commonly encountered upload errors.

Error message: 

Oops! Document uploaded successfully but failed to load. Please refresh your browser. If the problem persists, please contact support.

  • To troubleshoot this error, first confirm that your file is a supported file type.
  • If it is a supported file type and refreshing the page did not resolve the issue, click Home in the upper-left corner of the page and then return to the activity in which you uploaded your file.
  • If that does not resolve the issue, please let us know. 

 

Status error message:

If your status is stuck at 100% uploaded. Loading document...

  • Please refresh the page and try your upload again.
  • If that does not resolve the issue, please let us know.

 

Error message:

I can’t open that file. Sorry!

This error occurs when you attempt to upload a video to a non-video observation. To resolve this you can remove the file from the step. If your district has purchased the video feature, you can request that your observer schedule a Video Observation for you.

 

Error message:

Error encountered while saving evidence.

This error displays when you attempt to save a tag to an artifact that is not yet attached to an activity.

Steps to resolve:

  1. Attach the artifacts to the activity.
  2. After selecting the artifacts (via the drop-down menu) you'd like to attach, click the blue Select button to the right of the menu.
  3. When the artifact displays on your screen, you can tag using the rubric on the right.

Error message:

Encoding Failed

  • To troubleshoot this error, first confirm that your file is a supported file type.
  • Remember that video files can only be uploaded to a Video Upload step of an activity.
